Epic (Epic, #1) by Conor Kostick
As the game becomes self-aware, there are whispers of a revolution among those who would use the game’s technology for conversations and elections rather than endless fighting. Who she really is wasn’t too much of a wower, but she learns a lot from it. Saga is a world with a very rigid class system, and Ghost and her friends are at the very bottom rung. I also feel like this book did not grab me as quickly as Epic did.
This time around the world is gritty, dark iostick much more like a science fiction novel than the fantasy world presented in Epic. Book Review: Epic by Conor Kostick
Although it was second in a series, the previous book being Epic, it had a completely different story but a similar plot. Instead of going by his own name, he chooses one he thinks befits a beautiful character – Cindella.
I did not really get the “clip up” part of the book? Things begin to turn up as the pirate claims that they are merely in a computer game.
